Medical Certification

The California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants has been administering the California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam since 1990. CCBMA is an approved certification agency recognized by the Medical Board of California.

Processing of certification exam applications
can take 6-8 weeks


Processing of recertification applications by Continuing Education Method
 can take 8-12 weeks.

Effective January 1, 2016
 A copy of your US Government issued ID (Driver's license, ID card or passport) is required with all certification applications submitted.
